Still, when Fox first offered Oliver a warm and cozy role doing big interviews and in-depth stories instead of roaming the field, she was not ready to be sidelined.
As one executive said to me, Fox Sports will look radically different in the coming years. I assume that means they want to look younger. If not she sure does look like it!
Is it sexist to say that Pam Oliver is attractive? I never know where to draw the line on that sort of thing. That's also how I feel about introducing a professional female with "the lovely and talented.
Per Hubbuch, the comments came during a roundtable discussion with owners of the Jets and Giants. The whole thing is a bit bizarre. FOX will be televising the game, and Oliver presumably will be working the sideline during the game.
July 14th,pm. Pam Oliver's days with Fox on the NFL sidelines may be numbered, but the network says she hasn't been sacked. According to a report Monday in Sports Illustrated, Oliver is being bumped back to the second string for the season and then she won't be on the sidelines at all after that.
Pam is pretty tight. On another note, and this may be absurd so bear with me. And Irv would grin and bear it, while Pat Summerall sipped something warm and neat?
